Airtel brings ‘Free Unlimited Night Calls’ for its fixedline customers

At a time when MTNL and BSNL are grappling to  arrest surrender rate ofLandline, private operators are busy adding new customers in landline segment. Bharti Airtel which was running “ Airtel Sunday Offer” in April has now come out another ambitious offer for its landline customers. Under this new offer ‘Free Unlimited Night Calls’
 landlinecustomers of Airtel can make unlimited calls to  other fixed line Airtel customers across India during the month of May 2010. This offer will be valid for the timings of 11 pm to 6 am. This offer comes just after completion of Airtel Sunday offer where Airtel customers can make unlimited  calls to other Airtel fixedline customers on all Sundays of April 2010. Generally GSM customers get host of offers due to increased competition but Airtel is giving due attention to its fixedline customers and more reasons of having a landline. Airtel has more than 30.66 lakh customers as on March 2010 and total subscriber base for landline in the country is 3.6 cr.
