Nokia Launches “Make My App” Contest

In an effort to enhance people engagement with the Nokia brand and to bring some excitement ,Nokia has launched “Make My app” Contest.Nokia invites people  to submit their idea for an application and Nokia team will convert that idea into a real application on Ovi store.This is an exciting opportunity for people to get their ideas converted into a real mobile application.Winning entries will win a trip to Nokia world event to be held at London in September.And also they get a Nokia N8 mobile handset loaded with their apps ,once the phone is launched.

The idea selection Process:

• participants can Submit  ideas into a relevant category.
• Submitted ideas will then be voted on by the public.
• Each week the 10 ideas with the most votes will be shortlisted.
• Nokia’s  guest judges will then choose 3 winning ideas from each category.
• These final 12 winners will win a trip to the Nokia World event in September in London, where their ideas are turned into real apps by professional developers.
• When the Nokia N8 hits the stores the winners will receive a brand new Nokia N8 with their app installed.
• The winning apps will also be made available in Ovi Store for everyone to download and enjoy.
• The closing date for submissions is on June 27th.
