Virgin Mobile India Launches GSM Services In Kolkata

After a long pause of expanding network,Virgin Mobile India the Youth focused telecom operator today launched GSM Mobile services in Kolkata Metro circle via its franchisee agreement with Tata Teleservices Ltd.

Virgin Mobile GSM StartUp Kit (SUK) is priced Rs 49 includes Virgin GSM SIM and lifetime validity with zero talktime.The operator introduces 3 Tariff Plan, Two type of Per Minute Plan and one Per Second Plan.

With per minute plan all Virgin to Virgin local calls will be charged at 20p and to all other local at 40 paisa/50 paisa per minute. The STD calls to Virgin Mobile charged at 20p and to other network it cost 50 paisa. All Local and National SMS cost 50 paisa and All Calls while Roaming charged at 60 paisa minute.
