Virgin Mobile vFLASH mobile broadband tariff plans


Virgin mobile, the joint venture of Virgin group and Tata Teleservices today announced vFLASH mobile broadband service across India. Virgin mobile India has a youth brand appeal. They offer attractive tariff plans for calls and SMS over their CDMA network across the country. The mobile broadband service is offered as a part of their expansion strategy into data services. Users can access broadband services using the supplied vFLASH data card with each connection. One of the partner of the venture, Tata Teleservices currently offer mobile broadband service under Photon Plus brand. Virgin Mobile vFLASH data card can offer a medium of 3.1 mbps speed in selected networks with backward compatibility.

Virgin mobile has announced attractive tariff plans for vFLASH USB broadband services. The very basic plan is pay as go, in which user need to pay 1 RS/min of usage. Two other tariff plans at RS 500pm and RS 750pm comes with .5 and 2GB free usage.
There is no unlimited broadband plan. But for heavy users there are two 10GB options RS 950 pm and RS 1100 pm. Among which the first one has 2GB (7-11PM) day usage plus 10GB (11PM-7)night usage. Virgin Mobile vFLASH 1100 plan comes with 10GB of free usage without day or night limitation. Browsing beyond the limit in all traffic plans will cost .5 Re/min.

Price of Virgin Mobile vFLASH mobile broadband USB device: 3500INR.

They also have a service similar to Tata Photo Plus TV, that let users to watch Live TV channels on their laptop or PC.
